Derrick is very gifted musically. He auditioned for the Houston International Children's Choir in 5th grade and made it. He also was in jazz band and 1st chair in top school bands from junior high through high school. He made region and state band several years in a row. He also started/founded and was President of the Texas A&M University Jazz Society (1997 -2001).
Derrick graduated with high honors from Taylor High School with a 3.78 GPR and placed out of 30 hrs. of credit at Texas A&M University where he graduated with a BS in Biomedical Science. Derrick is an honor law student at South Texas College of Law Houston, TX.
As a baby and very young child he lived at 22126 Bucktrout, Katy, TX and at age 5 yrs. moved to1011 Fleetwood Place Dr., Houston, TX. When he was starting 11th grade at Taylor High School in Katy his family moved a few miles west to 9 Hollinger's Island, Katy, TX.

Christine grew up in Johnson City with her family and two younger sisters on the Keene Ranch, which had been in her family for four generations. Through her years in school, she was a cheerleader, school mascot and graduated Valedictorian from Johnson City High School in 1999. She was awarded four scholarships due to her outstanding scholastics.
